Im Kunstgarten könnt ihr zwei klingende Kunstobjekte aus der Installation „We all got the juice“ von Constanze Kresta und Johanna Bender erleben. Im Vorfeld wurden Menstruierende aufgerufen, Erlebnisse und Anekdoten zum Zyklus als Sprachnachrichten an die Künstlerinnen zu senden. Zusammengekommen sind über 100 Geschichten und musikalische Interpretationen zur Menstruation. Diese Stimmen ertönen leise und ermöglichen so eine intime Begegnung. Das Projekt hinterfragt die Art und Weise wie in heutigen Gesellschaften über den Zyklus geredet und geschwiegen wird. Die Installationen brechen mit der Tabuisierung des Dialogs und bieten einen einzigartigen Raum für Verständigung und Gemeinsamkeiten.
In the Kunstgarten you can experience two sounding art objects from the installation „We all got the juice“ by Constanze Kresta and Johanna Bender. In the run-up, menstruators were asked to send experiences and anecdotes about the menstrual cycle as voice messages to the artists. More than 100 stories and musical interpretations of menstruation were collected. These voices sound softly and thus enable an intimate encounter. The project questions the way the menstrual cycle is talked about and kept silent in contemporary societies. The installations break the taboo of dialogue and offer a unique space for understanding and common ground.
